Australian Mountain Bike Champion Troy Brosnan has announced his partnership with iconic sportswear brand Oakley in the lead up to his 2016 World Cup Campaign.
Brosnan has been vocal about his excitement in partnering with such an exclusive brand.
“It’s pretty awesome getting together with Oakley, they are one of the biggest brands in goggles and sport, and their products are all really high performance and high class” Brosnan said.
The Australian Champion is a longtime fan and is super excited to pilot Oakley’s racing goggles and performance sunglasses.
“To be associated with them this year is awesome, after using the goggle for a little bit now it’s crazy how much and well they perform,” Brosnan said.
The iconic partnership is one Brosnan hopes to grow with throughout his career.
“It’s amazing to be with such a big brand and a brand that does so much for pretty much every sport; it will be good to grow with them and see how far we can take the relationship and introduce some new stuff to Oakley as well,” Brosnan said.
Off the track, Brosnan is ecstatic at partnering with a brand that has such an influential media base.
“It’s awesome to have a company that is behind you 100% but then to have such strong marketing, social media and advertising reputation that can get athletes names out there and have fun as well is a huge bonus,” Brosnan said.
Brosnan’s preparation for his 2016 Campaign has begun with training for his first ride at the Thredbo National Round prior to the World Cup.
“I’m training right now, mainly for the World Cup in April but also for the Thredbo race, it will be my first one running with the Oakley goggles,” Brosnan said.
Brosnan’s first ride of 2016 will be the February National Round at Thredbo, NSW followed by the National Championships in Bright, VIC in March.
